The band “The Lady Goes Rock” brings together seasoned, accomplished musicians from the Swiss rock, blues, jazz, and funk scenes.
The sound grooves, rocks, and bursts with energy and soul. Calling on the diverse backgrounds of individual musicians, it combines jazzy tones with a great love for New Orleans rhythms and the music of Jon Cleary in particular.
The pianist/keyboardist and New Orleans music devotee Stefan W. Müller, the virtuoso guitarist and groove man Stephan Urwyler, the creative, tight bassist Samuel Joss, and the master of beats, drummer Lukas Bitterlin harmonise wonderfully together and are perfectly complemented by the emotionally stirring and resonant voice of singer Birgit Ellmerer.
The Jazz Lady is also convincing as the Rock Lady.
The band has a thrilling stage presence with an enormous joy in performing that spills over and enthuses the audience.
