Since 1994 the rock and jazz singer has performed as lead or back-up singer in numerous concerts and studio sessions.
Besides being the founder of the bands Sophisticated Lady (1996) and The Lady Goes Rock (2015), Ellmerer is managing director of the music booking agency Sophisticated Music Entertainment (SME).
She is also a qualified voice coach and trainer. In 1998 Ellmerer founded the Zentrum für Stimmentfaltung (Centre for Voice Development), where she teaches and coaches singers and people in language-intensive professions.
